Pastor Installation Mass for Father Silvano Kim

With joyful hearts, we gathered on October 25, 2026, to formally welcome Father Silvano as the new pastor of Madonna Church. The Most Reverend Bishop Gregory Studerus presided at the Installation Mass, joined by a number of visiting clergy.

In his homily, Father Silvano shared his faith journey and vision for Madonna Church: to be a Eucharist-centered and welcoming parish where people of every generation and cultural background can encounter Christ, grow in faith, and serve others.

During the celebration, representatives from parish councils and ministries presented spiritual gifts, congratulatory cards, and flowers on behalf of our parish communities.

Joining our parish family were Father Silvano's parents, sisters, sister-in-law, nephew and niece. It was a special blessing to hear Sr. Michaela Kim, one of his sisters, sing Preghiera (Prayer) in Italian and Panis Angelicus (Bread of Angels) in Latin, adding a beautiful and prayerful moment for the congregation.

Congratulations, Fr. Silvano! May God bless you and guide you throughout your pastoral ministry.
