A Note From the Pastor

Praised be Jesus Christ!

Our parish has begun the first phase of our involvement in the archdiocesan capital campaign, We Are Living Stones. The campaign has been implemented in three stages and we are part of the third stage.

Every parish in our archdiocese is participating in this campaign that will benefit the archdiocese as well as every individual parish. This four-year campaign will fund established and new endowments in the archdiocese supporting retired priests along with seminary education.

A major portion of the archdiocese’s share of the campaign will go to a newly established tuition Assistance Endowment Fund that will be used to help Catholic families who want to send their children to Catholic schools but cannot afford the tuition and fees.

Another fund will provide grants to enable our priests and laity to “get the continuing education and training that today’s Church requires.”

The final share of the archdiocese’s share will fund the ongoing operation of programs and ministries run in our archdiocese. Our own parish will also share in the monies collected.

Over forty-five percent of our collected funds will be returned to the parish.

This money will be used for some improvements and upgrades of our own facilities including upgrading the lighting in the Main Church, making our cafeteria handicap accessible and repairing our parking lot and Bell Tower.

To learn more, join Rev. Bruce Janiga, our pastor, and the Madonna Campaign Leadership Committee at one of the following informational receptions in the cafeteria:
