Dear Parents, we hope you’re enjoying a happy and healthy summer. As we enter “Back To School” season, please remember to register your children for religious formation ASAP.

Every year, the church incurs unnecessary costs and shipment delays when parents do not register their children in advance. In addition, we cannot take advantage of discounts offered by publishers who encourage early ordering to ensure timely shipments of books and learning supplies.

As we have announced weeks ago, a $50 late fee will be added to any registration after August 1, 2017.

Registrations for returning PreK-8th grade students will be closed after
September 17, 2017. Parents registering first time students into the program will have until October 15, 2017 to register PreK-8th grade children.

Click here to register children ASAP.

The fee is $100 for one child and $175 for two or more children. The sacramental fee is $25 for First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Registrations after Aug 1 will incur $50 late fee.

We have added the convenience of paying with a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) in addition to cash or check made out to: Madonna Church.

We realize the increase might be a challenge for some families so we ask that those parents apply for a scholarship. We will assist those who qualifyReturning students with financial challenges (not including new students) must apply for a scholarship by July 31.

Madonna Parish Religious Formation and Alive in Christ invites children to hear God’s invitation to a personal relationship through his Word, helps them discover and learn the Church’s teaching in precise theological language, and teaches them how to live as Catholic disciples.
The unique catechetical process in Alive in Christ intentionally mirrors the Divine Pedagogy—forming Catholic identity and leading children and families to
understand and live a life of discipleship.
Madonna Parish Religious Formation and Alive in Christ involves parents through a variety of resources that help the entire family grow in faith and equip them with the skills necessary to communicate the truths of the faith
to their children.
Alive in Christ Provides easy-to-use lesson planning, teaching, and training tools to help catechists, teachers, and volunteers improve their knowledge and catechetical skills and grow in their own relationship with Christ and his Church.
Students listen for God’s voice speaking personally to them through Sacred Scripture and are invited to respond through reflection and prayer.
Alive in Christ provides comprehensive online resources for catechists, students, and families that include online lesson planning, additional activities, seasonal resources, customizable chapter and unit assessments and online training.
Alive in Christ presents, and effectively implements, the six foundational tasks of catechesis (see National Directory for Catechesis, 131).

Activities, features, and questions throughout the text prompt children to relate knowledge of our Catholic faith with their life experience.

Each lesson provides practical examples of ways we worship, live, pray, and serve together as Catholics and introduces children to Catholic figures who stand as models of heroic virtue in everyday life.
