“Faith formation is more than a subject to be taught – it is an invitation to a way of life” – *Joe Paprocki

 2nd grade RF class

Ministry of Catechesis

At any moment, we are called to utilize our God given talents for a greater good – one of those callings is to minister the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ – this is our calling.

With over 100 children in grades PreK-8th, our incredible team of catechists (religious formation teachers) utilize all their skills and talents, and the power of the Holy Spirit, to ensure children understand the Scriptures, and how to apply them in their daily lives.

Our teachers average between 7 and 14 years teaching religious education. Some have taught for over 20 years! But regardless of experience or age, they understand the complex world children live in today, and how to help them make the connections between God, parents, and their community.

If you’re searching for a higher calling or love teaching children the Word of God, please join our incredible Ministry of Catechesis by contacting the Youth Ministry Office.

*Joe Paprocki, DMin, is National Consultant for Faith Formation at Loyola Press. He has more than 30 years of experience in ministry and has taught at many different levels. He is the author of numerous books, including the bestseller The Catechist’s Toolbox and Under the Influence of Jesus.
