Adult Confirmation

If you have been baptized and received First Holy Communion, but never celebrating the sacrament of Confirmation, you can participate in our preparation program for adults.
The program runs from late January through early April, and classes are held from 7pm-8pm. We will need a copy of your baptism certificate and a letter from the church where you received First Holy Communion confirming you received the sacrament. Please bring both on the first day of class.
To register, please fill out the form below and we will contact you to make arrangements.
Keep in mind, adult Confirmation can only be celebrated on Sundays during the Easter season. If you have been asked to be a godparent or sponsor for another Confirmation candidate, or you need to receive Confirmation before getting married, plan accordingly.
You will have to complete the program before receiving the sacrament.

What will you need?

A copy of your Baptismal certificate.
Letter from church confirming you received First Holy Communion.
A sponsor to guide you through this spiritual journey.

Requirements to be a Confirmation Sponsor:

Be at least sixteen years of age or older.
Be a fully initiated Catholic who has been Baptized, Confirmed, and has received Holy Eucharist.
Be leading a life in harmony with the faith; i.e., a practicing Catholic (attending Mass, participating in the faith life of their parish), if married, in a valid Catholic Marriage, etc.
May not be the father or mother of the one to be Confirmed.

If not a parishioner of Madonna Parish, a sponsor must provide a letter from his/her own parish attesting to their membership in good standing and that they are practicing their faith as a Catholic.
